RIVIERA Coronary Stent System
The RIVIERA System utilizes Nexeon’s Inversion Point technology to create a best-in-class front-line cobalt alloy coronary bare metal stent (BMS). The crossing profile of the stent is an incredibly low 0.86mm, which is 20 percent smaller than today’s market-leading bare metal stent. The RIVIERA stent is the uncoated version of the PROTEX prohealing stent.
Product Attributes
- Ultra-low profile – Inversion Point stent technology allows for a 0.86mm crossing profile.
- Thin strut stent design – The total thickness of the bare metal stent is just 75µm.
- Low post-deployment recoil – Inversion Point stent technology reduces the stent recoil seen after deployment. The post-deployment recoil of RIVIERA is 30% lower than the market leading coronary cobalt alloy stent.
- Excellent radial strength, vessel coverage and radiopacity – Inversion Point stent technology gives RIVIERA frontline characteristics that are equal or greater than today's market leading cobalt alloy stent system.
- Lubricious catheter coating – RIVIERA utilizes the Harmony™ advanced hydrophilic coating from SurModics, a lubricious coating designed for unsurpassed deliverability and durability.
